I just finished the last of my 9 day work stretch and I am not too exhausted after all. Working at Tanner's is going to be a lot less stressful than Michaels for sure! I just have to keep reminding myself not to buy too many books. I can borrow them and I have a lot of my own still to read at home! Tomorrow I will be meeting Chilo after she gets off work at 11am, not sure what we are going to do maybe go for a coffee (at the least I hope :P) Then after Jason gets off work his parents, Jason and I are going to go looking for costumes for a halloween dinner party. I think that shall be a lot of fun! I love dressing up at Halloween, is partly why it is my favorite holiday. I also like the history and the candy!!!

Yesterday was my last shift at Michaels, it was hard to say goodbye to everyone! It still has not hit me 100% that I will not be going to work there anymore I just have to make sure that I get on the bus going the right way. I have my first full shift at Tanner's this morning starting at 11:30-8pm. I am working a full 40hrs there, it has been a long time since I have had a full 40hrs anywhere. 45.5 hours of working this week, be nice to get the pay checks LOL!
On other news, Sorry Nyssa that I have not been writing on here much lately, I have just been so busy with the changing of jobs and all. Once things become more orderly at work again which I hope will be only in a few weeks I will be able to devote more time to the on-line community. I will be stopping by Michaels to meet Chilo on Thursday so I can also pick up my second to last pay stub. Well I should start getting ready to go, will try and get back on to update you on how the day went :)

Last night was my first night training at Tanners. It was only 3 hours but there was a lot of talking and computer functions to go thru most was pretty straight forward. I think that I will survive.
Today I was surprised to see my pay check is one of the largest I have ever received $680+ so I finally got my bills paid and still have some cash for food!! YAY!!!
I tried doing Cardinal Melodies pony maker but I couldn't seem to get the pictures to save I was quite disappointed. But I finally setaled on my pony personas... well for my names are Pixarna and Perilessent.
Pixarna is a Dark Green Unicorn (lighter green horn) with fusha main and tail.
Perilessent is a Dark Red Pegasus (Dark Red bat wings) with Bright White main and tail.
I have not managed to come up with a perfect symbol yet for either but I am sure that will come in time.
I got "Summer Shores and Ocean Dreamer" on Tuesday they are soooo cute. I think I will leave them in the package tho.
Today is my sister's 20th Birthday, I will be meeting Jason in Sidney and then heading over to my mom's for a BBQ most of my family will be there. It has been awhile since I have seen some of them.

Who would have thunk it?

Well I decided with Shelly that I would stick around at michaels till Sunday the 25th. I have not heard from Cliff yet to weather I am to be working my days off at Tanners or not yet. He said would e-mail me over the weekend, I just hope I hear something b4 Tuesday night.
On other notes work was a little crazy yesterday, due to some big wigs coming up from Texas for a store tour. My closing cashier was sick and I was supposed to be training one of the new girls for FES. so I was trying to help my new FES out and get the front of the store cleaned and shut down and it didn't go as smoothly as it could have that was for sure! Today when I get there I am not sure if the tour will still be going on or not. I guess I will have to wait and see. Jason surprised me by coming to meet me last night when I was off work. it was nice to have the company.
Well I suppose I should get back to getting ready for work now.. ttyl

Well I just wanted to let you all know I got the Job At Tanners after all. Cliff called just b4 I got to work and asked if 35 hours would be ok and I said I would do it :) So then the next step followed. I had to Give Shelly my notice, it didn't go as bad as I thought. Later I was called Traitor and Quitter by Allen and Colleen my managers at Michaels but oh well hehe. I assumed they were just joking :/
After work I got picked up by Adam an old friend from Highschool, Him another friend named Tom and I went to Adams house to wait for a ride to Abbie's from another friend named Matt. Once to Abbie's everyone there was already drunk for the most part lol. I was bad and quickly joined them in the drunkiness. I however had not drank much for a good year or two so it did not agree with me at all. I spent that night and the majority of the next day getting sick :(
Once the sickenss passed Jason came over then we later went to Kims and had some fun with Tetris and watched DareDevil.
Tomorrow I work @ 12:30. Hope you had a good sleep Nyssa sorry I never got back to you on MSN. Have a good Sunday *hugs*

Well I just typed out this long msg about my interview and went to spell check and lost it all :(
Anyways it went something like this...
I finally got called by Cliff the Manager of Tanners yesterday afternoon. I got the message after work and once to my mom's where I spend my Thursday evenings I called Cliff back and was asked to go in for an interview that evening.
The interview was almost 3 hours long :P but I was good and didn't look at my watch once thru the whole thing. It was funny cause the interview didn't seem that long at all.
The interview consisted of a lot of questions on different areas of retail. and Cliff telling the story of the Tanners history including wage and some of the employees.
Then he made me an offer of $9 and 25-30hrs. I was a shocked at that and Jason was livid when he heard that he was offering so little. the $ was ok for starts but the hours would not be enough to make ends meet. I mean hey I live on my own and rent alone is $525 a month then there are the bills, food and other living expenses.
So I told him I would let him know in the morning what my answer would be.
Jason, Kim and I went to Boston Pizza for a little bit to eat and then we all went home since Jason had to be up at 4am.
Anyways I called Cliff back this morning and let him know that I would love the job but the only thing keeping me from taking it was the hours. I told him that I would be happy to take it if he could offer me closer to 40, 35 would be ok to start because I know as a newbie there is a lot to learn and in time if I did what I was supposed to that hours and $ would increase! So now I sit here waiting for him to call back to let me know either way. Will I remain a loyal employee to Michaels or will I be heading out to Sidney and Tanners?

Well I ended up watching some movies and napping...
I watched Tomb Raider (napped thru most of it), Kate and Leopold and Benny and Joon. I love those movies hehe :)
Anyways now I think it is time to retire to the other room, I work 8-4 the next 2 days.
Oh yeah and Jason isn't going to be working the night shift this week after all they were short staffed during the day. So after getting off work at 9:30 this evening he will be working his regular shift of 7-3:30? the rest of the week.
Night night

Well last night we did't watch a movie we watched a couple episodes of Buffy and an episode of Angel instead. I finally got to see Musical Buffy hehe! The only thing is, is that now that I have watched them I want to see more!!!!!
I am sooooooooo bored today not sure what there is to do... TV is boring me, maybe I will read or play some game on the old PS2 hehe. I will wait and see what is on Teletoon next :P
Maybe I should go outside, but then again if I did I would prob just go and spend more money that I now definitely do not have.... oh well I only have to wait till the 15th then I will have some cash again tho I need to put it onto the old visas and pay my other bills lol can't win!! anyhow I will soon get my one season of Buffy allotment for the month but that is all I am allowing myself to buy for fun this month :P boring i know!
Days off are not always that fun hehe
when you are doing things you feel too busy but when you aren't doing things you feel too bored. I should vacuum maybe then I will just finish off Shogun and start reading the new Harry Potter again. Well I guess I will let you know what I came up with in the end. Jason has started his night shifts this week so will be working till 1am maybe I can get a hold of Jen or maybe Kim again and see what they are up to :/

Yesterday Chilo ect, Threw Laurie A baby shower. I was supposed to go but due to waking up late missing my bus and having to go home after work to get some clothes to stay in town for the night (I had to work @ 8 this morning and the buses were on Sunday schedule)I was not able to go. Since I had to be to work b4 the first bus came I had to stay at my Grandparents' house the night. Turns out one of the seven layer dips were possibly past its best b4 date. A few ppl that went to the shower ended up ill the next day.
Today Work was even busier than Sat or Sun and we were down one cashier :( By the end of the day I was radiating heat cause I was so exhausted (This was my 6th day of working in a row) I was soooo happy when I got home, I have tomorrow off I think a good part of that will be spent sleeping and little else! Tonight I think Jason and I are getting together with Kim to watch a movie, not sure when but will be around tomorrow.

I thought that I would check in since it had been a few days.
A lot of things have been changing around the work place. Shelly my supervisor has been away for about a week due to an issue with our Manager. He was let go from the company because of it. Allen our new manager has been in good humor the last few days which is good. I have been getting to do a lot of shelly's jobs around the front end since she has been away, it is definitely a nice change! Shelly is due back to work on Tuesday of next week.
I still have not heard from Tanners and it is bordering almost a month since I took in my resume!
Jason is doing alright in his new place of employment. Tho they never paid him this week because of a misunderstanding. I hope for his sake that it gets fixed cause a month without pay would suck! Next week he will be working the night shifts, I wonder how that will go?
Anyways I am off to finish getting ready for my 1-9:30 shift, will come back soon!

Hello, Right now I am just relaxing watching some of thee old boob toob and well typing on here.
I received "Dibble Dabble" today she is one of the cutest G3 Ponies I have acquired so far. I am also thinking Sadly on stopping the collection for awhile. I need to save up for some more important things.
I finally called "Tanners" today regarding the resume I put in a few weeks ago. (Tanners is a book store located in Sidney) I was sooo nervous when I called, I was all shaking after wards.
It is about an hour and a half before Jason shows up not too sure what we have planned for this evening but I am sure that it will be fine hehe. I think that I will shortly head for the other room and watch some "Wolf's Rain" I am on the last disk of the series.
I have tomorrow off as well as today tho I have a Dr's appointment at 11am, I think that I will pick up some groceries after wards depening on how I am feeling.
The weather has finally changed and the rain and clouds are roaming the skies. It seems a little more depressing on cloudy days to me, partly because of my "SADS" it is a sesonal depression that really sucks hehe.
Anyways I am off will be back soon!
